General guidelines Almost nothing has changed in training since cm034, so we have adjusted the CM0304 training articles to fit the slight changes in cm0304 * Drop cross county as soon as the season starts for all but wingers and wingbacks. It's too tiring and boring for the players. Try using many 5-a-side games in large pitch instead. * All players of the first team should be given some tactical training the day prior to each match. This way they will improve their match performance. On the other hand this is not necessary for members of the reserve squad. * Add some pig in the middle games, as players seem to enjoy it, and thus perform better in the rest of the training. * Try to give players reasonable rests, in order not to exhaust them. Players that are exhausted will not perform in matches and WILL NOT BE DEDICATED IN TRAINING. So it is really no use giving too much training, if nobody tries hard after all. * Don't be too keen on setting a training match too ofte. once a week will do for your first team, who will often get the opportunity to play official matches, whereas your reserves should have at least two. * ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON THE STAR RATING SYSTEM AND YOUR COACHES COMMENTS. Maybe your training seems perfect, yet some players might not benefit from it. Check their performance a couple of weeks after you first apply it, just to ensure all is fine! If the player is not performing, try an alternative training! Important note When using intensive training schedules, your players might become exhausted. If a player's condition drops below 60%, let him rest for a couple of day, until he recovers, otherwise he will not be able to train properly and he will be extremely prone to injuries! Also do not arrange friendlies in summer periods when your player's fitness is still very low, because you will get many injuries! |
