Well, well... I'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm not. SIGames.com forums have been bombarded with, rightfully so, angry customers all day. The problems still aren't fixed. People still can't play the game. Activation is mayhem. Their anti-piracy plan seemed so flawless.. Except. The game's been cracked, and it's the pirates who are playing while the people who have spent their hard earned cash are still waiting for the activation servers to recover from the high load put on them. Well done SI/Sega. You truly thought this through. For those of you with issues who want to vent/see what they can do, go here! I'm going to go occupy myself for the next couple hours and hope all is well when I'm back. *facepalms* |

SI Games has released a new commercial to boost the preorders of Football Manager 2009. See it here
First there was text commentary. Then a top-down 2D engine. Now, finally, after years of patient waiting, Football Manager's match engine is entering the third dimension on PC and Mac. Utilising motion capture footage borrowed from SEGA Japan's Virtua Striker, Football Manager 2009 is engineered to deliver the visual realism that its stunningly detailed match engine so richly deserves. Football Manager 2009 is now available for pre-purchase as a PC digital download from STEAM, and will be available for players to play at 09:00 GMT on the 14th November 2008. For details on availability and pricing, please visit www.footballmanager.com/buynow.
